Speaker details
The speaker is Roland Potthast who will be running a training session on AI/ML methods. This will comprise a mixture of lectures and hands-on activities.
Roland has a couple of roles:
- Professor of Applied Mathematics, at the University of Reading; and,
- Head of Department of the Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) group at Deutscher Wetterdientst (DWD – the German Weather Service).
